The Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR) system is a mission support system within the FAA which provides the public with up-to-date information about protected airspace such as at airshows and firefighting operations.

The AMSOMS contract encompasses database maintenance support for aeronautical information systems and airspace tools including: National Airspace System Resource (NASR); Aeronautical Information Management Maps; Aeronautical Information System Replacement (AISR); and Federal NOTAM System (FNS). Our support activities include configuration management, security and safety, airspace design, lean management, program management, solution development, in-service management, and disposition services.

Crown supports the Airspace Support task, which provides enhancement, development, and sustainment for the Sector Design & Analysis Tool (SDAT); Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR) Builder; Special Activity Airspace Creator Editor (SAACE); and Central Altitude Reservation Function (CARF) tools. SDAT is used for designing airspace, with a focus on the development and maintenance of Minimum Vectoring Altitudes (MVA) and Minimum IFR altitude (MIA) areas and charts.
