Andy Nahle serves as Vice President of the Integration & Infrastructure group at Crown Innovations. In that role, he is responsible for Crown’s technical engagements and directing the growth and diversification of its business portfolio, which focuses on planning and installing air traffic and airport systems.

Before joining Crown, Nahle had 24 years of experience in planning, designing, and leading the executing of facility infrastructure projects at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Airspace Systems (NAS) facilities across the country. He was senior technical advisor to the FAA deputy administrator for unmanned aircraft systems, managed the procedures for FAA technical training for NAS equipment operations and maintenance, and managed national contracts supporting the FAA.

Nahle has also held leadership positions at two Fortune 500 companies, leading aviation business development, marketing, engineering, and program management efforts related to airports and FAA capital improvement plans at the regional and national levels. He has in-depth knowledge of policy, regulatory requirements, and project approval processes. He also brings a successful track record of developing and positioning teams for growth and strategic partnerships.

He has experience in exploring and bridging the integration of emerging aviation technologies, such as UAS and advanced air mobility into airport operations and regional transportation systems. Andy’s forward-looking perspectives on UAS and AAM will reinforce Crown’s leading role in this important sector.

Nahle has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in business administration, and is a graduate of the FAA’s Senior Executive Leadership Development Program. He is a member of several professional organizations and is passionate about community involvement.
