ARLINGTON, VA — Vince DeFrancisci, an accomplished business development executive with decades of federal contracting experience, has joined Crown Innovations Inc. as Vice President, Corporate Growth.

At Crown, DeFrancisci will lead enterprise growth strategy, federal business development, capture execution, and strategic partnerships across defense, space, aviation, and advanced technology markets.
He is widely recognized for his ability to align technical innovation with customer mission priorities, build trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders, and position organizations for sustainable, long-term growth.
Prior to Crown, DeFrancisci built and led high-performing growth organizations supporting NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Air Force.
Most notably, he spent more than a decade as vice president of corporate strategy and program development at the Universities Space Research Association, where he scaled the organization to 167 percent revenue growth over 10 years through disciplined capture processes, strategic portfolio shaping, and executive-level customer engagement.
His leadership included winning and managing flagship programs such as NASA’s Academic Mission Services, Goddard Earth Sciences Technology and Research, Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy re-compete, NASA Glenn’s Advanced Research & Technology Services, and the NASA Postdoctoral Program. He also won and managed the Air Force Research Laboratory Scholars Program and multiple large-scale research and technology support contracts.
DeFrancisci held senior growth leadership roles at Noblis and the Bay Area Environmental Research Institute, where he led targeted corporate business development planning, major re-compete initiatives, and market expansion into emerging mission areas.
Vince holds a master of science in strategic management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, an executive leadership certificate from Columbia University, and a bachelor of science in business administration from the University at Albany.
