Mike O’Hara serves as vice president, integration and infrastructure programs for Crown Consulting Inc. He joined Crown in 2012 as head of marketing and quickly advanced to chief operating officer.

In this current role, O'Hara guides Crown’s Integration and Infrastructure service area, providing engineering, installation, integration, test, construction, training and logistics support for air traffic technology and facility modernization programs.

O'Hara's team specializes in communications, fiber optic network, surveillance, power and physical security systems. He leads logistics and training for the Common Terminal Digitizer Radar System.

His 45-year aviation career includes engineering and technical leadership positions with Crown, QinetiQ North America, Raytheon  and the U.S. Air Force.

For QinetiQ, O'Hara managed product development for the Runway Incursion Alerting System and the Intelligent Rail Integrity System, while directing services to the Federal Railroad Administration in research, development, and test and evaluation.

For Raytheon, O'Hara managed the Eastern Service Area for the Air Traffic Control Optimization Training Solutions, directing 500 instructors and advancing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) initiatives to optimize instructional approaches. He directed a Transportation Security System system integration contract that focused on creating an integrated security solutions for air, rail and cargo. He also managed deployment of passport identification systems for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's US-VISIT program.

O’Hara contributed to every aspect of life-cycle support on Raytheon product development and engineering services to the FAA ‘s air traffic control modernization. He played major planning and deployment roles of the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System, Digital Airport Surveillance Radar, Security Equipment Integration and Logistics Center Supply Support,. among others. He was awarded Raytheon’s Business Development Excellence Award in 2004.

O'Hara holds a Master of Arts degree in business administration from Framingham State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering management from Fitchburg State University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®.
