Danton Stuart serves as vice president, business development for Crown Consulting Inc. In this role, he collaborates with executives and business leads to set growth targets and bid opportunities. He is responsible for new business growth for Crown.

Stuart draws on engineering and business development experience in aeronautics and air traffic to assist in defining Crown’s strategic direction, investigating promising technical markets and charting a path to penetrate them. He also oversees development and prosecution of capture strategies, including technical and pricing solutions.

He brings to this role insights, processes and industry relationships from guiding complex capture efforts for large engineering firms. Over the decade before joining Crown, he served in business and solution development roles for Engility Corporation, Harris Corporation and Exelis Inc., leading or participating in individual bids valued at up to $2 billion. These opportunities spanned subjects in telecommunications, safety-critical system design and air traffic control concept research. He managed Exelis’ capture of the Terminal Flight Data Management (TFDM) Program and led several of the company’s new customer solution initiatives. His business development role at Harris focused on business capture for the Mission Networks Business, covering a territory that included the FAA, NASA and state governments.

Stuart holds Project Management Program certification, a Master of Science degree in electrical and communications engineering from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from Virginia Tech.
