ARLINGTON, VA - John Belin has been named vice president of business development for Crown Consulting Inc. He will provide overarching business development leadership across all business units.

Belin guides a talented team responsible for developing, refining and implementing Crown’s global business development strategies to drive growth across the company.

“John’s relationships and strong reputation across the industry will allow us to further strengthen and expand our strategic partnerships and drive toward even greater success,” said Crown CEO Al Khan.

Belin joins Crown after serving as a senior associate for the Booz Allen Hamilton Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) business with a focus on strategic and tactical business development for the transportation market and FAA program management responsibilities. Over the last decade, he has led significant business development efforts focused on expanding business into the Environmental Protection Agency, National Park Service, Veterans Affairs, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and new areas of the FAA. He recently led a successful, long-term recompete of a $40 million environmental management, analysis, research and international support contract with FAA’s Office of Environment and Energy. Belin also led all phases of capture and proposal activities for the $1.4 billion FAA program support services procurement.

Belin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a master’s degree in environmental health science, both from the University of Georgia, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
