Crown's RE experience is extensive. Our engineering staff has experience with many of the first-level commercial tools, like Telogic's Doors® or ARTiSAN's Real-Time Studio®. Our engineers and analysts are trained in the latest UML/SysML techniques.
Specification Development
Whether a system is new "clean sheet", or of the legacy "muddy sheet"
varietty, Crown's experienced engineering staff has decades of experience in crafting consise and thorough "specs". Often, customers have existing generic specification standards which must be tailored to a specific project or system. Crown has prepared tailored specifications for all levels of design, development, and production.
Operations Concept Development (OpsCon)
Crown has supported several govenrment projects which have begun at the "clean sheet" stage. It is frequently a difficult task for those close to a new system to step back and carefully and completely capture all the operational aspects in a form which SE design teams can effectively use.
Crown's senior SE staff has outstanding experience in assisting customers with digesting the miriad of details and complexities of systems and coming up with a valid concept of operations which then provides the nucleus - always revisited, of course - of the more detailed system design efforts.
